Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Dearborn Heights. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Michigan are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (313) 800-8002. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is watanbakery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 357 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian bakery in Dearborn Heights and suggests consistent service.

Dearborn Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dearborn Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This might be the best Arabic bakery I have ever been to. First of all, the way I was treated will leave a mark on me forever. The moment I opened the door, I was gracefully greeted and wasn’t rushed to choose what I wanted whatsoever, and the whole time I was there I felt they like they were family. Three people told me to have a good day before I walked out. Second of all, the food was out of this world. The first bite was something to remember, I can’t remember the last time my mouth watered like that. Most likely the best manaeesh I’ve had in my life. The spices, bread, cheese and meat are just all the perfect mix of everything it’s hard to explain (I got a mixed cheese and meat manaeesh). The prices were very good too (I’ve been to a lot of Arabic bakeries in Dearborn so I’m not just saying that). Last but not least, this place is family owned and there was at least 6 people working very hard in the back, and the smell of the place was mystical. Everything was organized and clean. In other words, the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is craving manaeesh (there are many other things on the menu), or simply anyone who wants to go ea

I’ve been going to AlWatan bakery since the first year they opened. Ever since that first day I had never tried any other bakery! This is the BEST bakery I’ve ever tried!!! The quality and flavors are consistently delicious and their prices are so reasonable. They respect your order timing no matter how large the order is. They’ve become more than a bakery. They’ve become our family tradition. My later father loved this place so much. During his prolonged hospital stays we would order his favorite manaqeesh. On the first day of Eid we would break our fast with his favorite manaqeesh. Ironically it was the last thing he ate before he passed. AlWatan, you’ve given our family some of the most cherished memories we have. Thank you.

Al Watan Bakery is my go to spot for bakeries. Their pies are really good and I especially like the bread they use because it is not as thick as other bakeries, which makes it even better. I would definitely recommend trying their meat with cheese or even their veggie pizza slices. The workers are friendly and very fast. They have never messed up my order and always make the experience easy and enjoyable. The people that work there are honestly the best. Overall, Al Watan Bakery is a reliable spot with great food that I always come back to.

I’m a Lebanese born and raised in Lebanon. I am a picky eater. I visit Michigan at 6 times a year. My family and I love this bakery. It’s friendly family owned and operated. They are absolutely the most welcoming, affectionate and friendly family you may ever meet. This is a 100% authentic Lebanese bakery. The Manaqeesh are best of the best in USA Full Stop. The dough is perfectly prepared and baked. The seasoning and condiments are just perfect balance. The portions are large and very reasonably priced. I eat there daily when I’m in Dearborn. Also, I order spinach pies and Manaqeesh to go on the day I travel back to Florida: Don’t miss this bakery when you are visiting Dearbon. You will miss out on the Best Manaqeesh and the Friendliest Service.

Went out of my way to try a new bakery… was not what I’m used to at the least. Maybe the regular customers like there items swimming in oil but not me it got all over me my car and anything that was near it. The taste was less then average I expected a decent taste at least from there reviews but I’m beginning to learn reviews are not good to rely on maybe they are friends trying to help the buisness or community members or something but just wasn’t what was advertised per previous reviews. Even the sujok, it was simply seasoned beef I never had sujok like that and sujok is usually more of a reddish color but much different here. Maybe it’s a different type of sujok style I’m not sure but I’m a fan of the more common red beet colored sujok with a spicy taste which definitely was not present here. This my option from my experiences maybe this is what their customers like which ok but I’m not a fan respectfully especially of a zaatar with massive amounts of oil making the bread soggy and a mess every where I prefer the clean no oil drip and traditional sujok not a seasoned ground beef mind as well been Kafta instead of being called sujok🤷🏾
